Aviron is a Montreal-based AI company building the intelligence layer for finance operations. We automate Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash workflows for manufacturers, distributors, and companies with complex back-office operations — sitting on top of existing ERPs without replacing them.

Our platform handles the full complexity of real-world finance operations: exceptions that legacy tools like OCR could never process, workflows that span supplier portals, statement reconciliations, and legacy on-premise systems. The result is 80%+ reduction in manual work and 95%+ straight-through processing — deployed in days, not months.

But automation is just the starting point. We are building toward a Working Capital OS: a system that optimizes the full cash conversion cycle and gives finance teams the kind of intelligence and leverage that was previously out of reach.

Aviron is a spin-off of StreamingFast — built and developed within the company before becoming its own entity. StreamingFast, acquired for US$60M by The Graph, is also Aviron's main financial backer. What you'll do

As a Finance Transformation Lead, you own the client relationship end-to-end, from the first demo to a live, adopted deployment. You'll sit inside our clients' finance teams, map their processes more deeply than they've ever documented them, and translate that understanding into AI agents that take real work off their plate.

This is a hybrid role by design. On any given week you might run a discovery workshop with a controller, demo the platform to a CFO, design a target operating model, then configure and test the AI agents that automate it. You'll be the person who both sells the vision and makes it real, translating what you learn on the ground into a working solution and into our product roadmap.

You will report to the COO and work closely with our engineering, sales, and finance experts.

Responsibilities

Solution engineering & pre-sales

• Run deep-dive discovery sessions to learn how each client actually runs their finance processes - AP/AR, close, reconciliation, FP&A - and assess where our platform can add the most value.
• Translate messy, real-world finance workflows into clear opportunities for automation and measurable ROI.
• Serve as the trusted advisor through the sales cycle, showing how our platform applies to each client's specific needs.

Project & transformation management

• Own onboarding and implementation: lead the client from kickoff through training, rollout, and adoption.
• Map current-state processes and design the future-state target operating model alongside the client's finance leaders.
• Drive follow-ups, track success metrics and ROI, and coordinate tightly between client stakeholders and our engineering team.
• Run hands-on workshops that turn everyday users into confident power users.

Solution delivery

• Automate client processes by configuring the Aviron platform to each client's specific needs.
• Craft and refine the instructions that make our agents reliable, then test them end-to-end before they go live.
• Roll out with the client, monitor real usage, and iterate, partnering with our engineering team on anything that needs to be built.
• Act as the voice of the customer: the needs you uncover are a key driver of our product roadmap.

Who you are

You've done finance transformation work and want to deliver the solutions, not just recommend them. You're as comfortable in front of a finance executive as you are working hands-on with new tools, or ready to become so.

Minimum requirements

• 3-5 years in finance transformation, finance optimization, or a related client-facing consulting role.
• Deep understanding of core finance processes: Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, financial close, as well as inventory management, record-to-report, FP&A, or controllership.
• A genuine curiosity for AI: you've experimented with LLMs, prompting, or automation tools and want to go much deeper.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with complex data and ambiguous problems.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to move fluidly between business and technical conversations.
• A bias for ownership and execution: you'd rather get something working and improve it than wait for perfection.
• Strong organizational skills: you can run several client engagements at once without dropping threads, balancing discovery, delivery, and follow-up.

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on experience recommending or implementing finance technology (ERP, EPM, close/consolidation, or RPA/automation tooling).
• Technical aptitude: you pick up new tools and systems quickly and enjoy figuring out how they fit together.
