Aviron was built by a team of engineers and operators with deep experience delivering mission-critical systems at scale. The founding team previously built and exited a world-class real-time data infrastructure company and has stayed together ever since, carrying forward a culture of technical rigor, reliability, and execution.
Aviron is not a retrofit of legacy automation with a thin AI layer. It was designed from the ground up as a native-AI platform by people who understand what it takes to deploy advanced technology into real-world, high-stakes environments. The team brings hands-on expertise across architecture, security, observability, governance, and adaptability - the foundations required to operate autonomous systems in production.
Mathieu Boulianne, Co-founder & CEO, is a former investment banker turned tech entrepreneur with over a decade of experience at the intersection of financial operations and advanced technology. He co-founded Aviron with Alexandre Bourget, Co-founder & CTO, a serial technical founder and product architect. Together, they previously co-founded and exited StreamingFast, a real-time data infrastructure company trusted to power mission-critical systems at global scale. Over the last seven years, they have built and operated high-performance data and AI platforms, co-incubated multiple AI ventures, and kept the same elite engineering team together through acquisition - experience they now bring to building an AI-native operating system for finance and back-office execution.
